Todya in school i was talking with my friends (and a few idiots that stand there as thay have no friends of there own!, arn't they annoying!) and one of my friends said they wanted a new console, so i recommended Gamecube. When asked "why should i get one" i replied with a list of games, and the price £130.
But then he said"But i wen't into game yesterday and it was £110"
PRICEDROP!!!!!
Seems that ninty feel the pressure from the opposition after all!
Now...... lets get to work on making them lower game prices.....

Nintendo said that with the original X-box price drop...

I think it is highly likley the price drop will be to £100 or get the console with Super Mario Sunshine for £130...

places are starting to lower the Gamecube's price to £120...

true, true.

i thought about the panasonic qube, but as you say if you have a DVD player then it is a bit silly.

although saying that i still bought the DVD kit for my Xbox, and i have a philips DVDrecorder.

i like the qube, its so good looking and the DVD player in it is much better than that in the PS2 or Xbox

Not if you were buying the console for your kids or something, as they'd be able to play DVDs in a different room then - considering most homes have more than one TV now....

Nintendo have mentioned that there isn't a price drop going to happen soon (or due to the other consoles' price drop), but I reckon Nintendo will need to drop the price a little to keep the customers - after all, for £40 more you can buy a DVD playable console.

Hmm.. I doubt that £92.1 million fine will be much of a blow to Nintendo, they did put money away for it, after all. Also, with such a rise in the fine (the original was £5.4 million) you can bet it'll be brought down due to the appeal.

its true, maybe not the one you saw, but the price is due to go down to under £100!!!
this may only be a christmas offer but i have heard and read this a few times.

although, to be fair it was before the whole $95 million fine and what have you.
