Well, it seems that my office has finally seen fit to change the firewall and let me type on here again (yes, I'm at work). Or perhaps SR have changed their set-up?
Either way, I hope it lasts, because it finally means I can be back on here more often. Good. Unfortunately, it comes on the week that I'm on holiday (bar today, obviously).
And I see Grix has started a new FOG Story. OK, so it might interfere with my version of events (see my topic in Long Stories forum from a while ago about the origins of the FOG stories), but it might not if I'm careful ;-)

Not noticed anything with the fonts myself...
FOG story. Will post in it soon. Haven't been online since Thursday thanks to IT services cutting off my connection (possibly related to my not paying the subscription fee). Will add to it some time tomorrow, depending on free time...

Sorry to interupt your chat Grix and pb, but if anybody else is experiencing problems with fonts then please let us know. I am concerned to have seen several mentions of this lately.

I did remember your old story Pb, just in case you were wondering. :0)
But the fact of the matter is, I didn't care.
You see, the times we didn't CARE about what we wrote, or if things matched up, we had great fun. We just wrote and wrote and wrote without a care in the world, made up these pathetic stories, and really had a good laugh.
That's what it should be like. No having to check if something matches, no having to wait for someone else to write. Just write when you want to, what you want to. It's there for fun, not for anything else.
I've been such a mong in the past when it's come to stories, I don't want that to happen again.
