I have spent a lot of hours playing multiplayer on NFS and it is brill and very fast paced.

The Nintendo GC version has been renamed Need for Slowdown though as the Ferrari has more in coming with a Lada than a sports car.

If you're so obsessed with speed, check out the Gamecube F-Zero footage.
Speed-wise, it wipes the floor with NFS on the PS2.
Shove that in your pipe and smoke it.

If it's that slow, then surely it does have a 'Need For Speed'...

They've probably made it easier to keep all the little kiddies with GC's happy.
