"The Lord Of The Rings?"

What the..? I cast a look over the GameCube release schedule and all I see is The Hobbit! Now this will probably be a great game but shouldn't it's older brother counterparts be making a Nintendo appearance too? Seeing as the GameCube is quite possibly the best console for Action/Adventure games, I'm quite shocked that the X-Box will be getting them and not Nintendo! I mean, wouldn't it be proper business sense to put some Lord Of The Rings titles on the GameCube?

Please! Someone prove me wrong and tell me there are some coming out!

So no The Fellowship Of The Ring? Shame..:(. But I heard somewhere that there'd be two games - one based on the films (official EA ones) and one based on the books. Any truth in that?

I hate the movie but the book is delicios especialy with Bar-BQ sause. I'm just wating for Lord of the Onion Rings-Twin Friers...yummmm

Two Towers is coming on the Cube.

Don't worry about it Maverick, GC owners won't be missing out on much.

I played a demo for the fellowship of the ring, looks great, but that's about all I can recommend, as I got bored after 5 minutes of playing. The two towers is just a simple hack and slash game, looks fun, but will suffer as all hack slash games have suffered in the past, repetition.

Just be thankful that EA aren't behind the hobbit like they are with the official Lord of The Ring games, it could actually be quite good.

Is it supposed to be any good? The film was alright, what about the game.

I also read something about a LOTR title for the Qube, but to be honest i didnt pay too much attention at the time so i have no idea where i read it or indeed if the source was reliable, but i did see something mentioned somewhere.

yeah there are some titles for gamecube, and im sure lotr is one of them!
at least i have seen some info somewhere!!!
