Got the game yesterday and think its brilliant. The games levels are alot bigger than the DC version. Also the game is more free roaming this time around.

You have your garage where you can just hang. The levels surround the garage, so you can just skate over to the level. There are no time limits for completing a level which is good. AS on the DC version I got very annoyed with it. The spray is easier aswell, you just press the R trigger and it sprays, no other button presses are needed.

You can get extra characters, you meet up with them and they show you tricks. If you pull the tricks of they join you. Also I had to race one of them to get them.

There are hidden graffiti tags in the levels as well as a hidden tape. The hidden tape seems to give you score targets and grind combos to beat. I havent tried to do this yet, so iam not sure what happens.

The music is great, and so are the graphics. At the moment completed 2 levels and now have the choice to go into any of 3 new levels.

If you liked the DC, version or you want a fun and good looking game then I recommend you get JSRF.

Sounds good.
I loved the Dreamcast Jet Set, so I know I'd love this.
It sounds like more of same except bigger and better.

Yep the cops are on your back this time aswell.

Havent seen a time trial, but in each level there is one tape. This tape then has some challenges for you to complete. Once done they open up new graffiti tags.

The big graffiti may have about 8 circles to fill. These circles only take one push of the R button. So big graffitis need to be completed from quite a few button presses, but the small graffitis only take 1.

The game is very good. I have spent just over 3 hours completing the first level fully. And then the 2nd level I need to do all the extra challenges to complete the level.

Very fun game with some great music.

I cant remember JSR on the DC much, but X and Y do grind and air combos. Y lets you do a 180 and skate backwards which you can do normally.

Beat isnt the main character its Yoyo. The other 2 selectable characters are Corn and Gum. Beat is the first character that joins you from the first level.
