I know this is the third topic with your name on in 2 days..
But.
On Hitman 2, In The Valley, right at the start, how do you make it so the Sniper doesn't shoot you?
I've hidden behind trees, tried to shoot him and used the van as cover, but each time either the Sniper or the guards kill me.
If you did it, how?

Oh, but then how do you pass by the security checkpoint.

Note I haven't actually got this far, I think the current record duration of living* in that level is like 15 seconds :-)

*Yes, that sounds stupid

Dunno, PC version I just let the van go off without me and catch it up later on.

The van always leaves about 2 seconds into the level, though, and If I run to catch up the Sniper gets me. I was thinking of taking my own Sniper Rifle in, but then I'd have to go back and do the first Japan mission again. (Even though it was sooo easy)

Is this the one where you have to get your weapons from the truck at the start?
I just stayed behind trees, walked slowly and kept using my binocs to check, the Sniper does look away for a period.
Then when he looked away, I ran like my head was on fire to the wall, went left to the van and got my stuff.

I'll try that. Do you need to stay at either side of the valley, because you start towards the middle?

I snuck quietly from the start, using the trees as cover until I reached the wall and was out of his sight.
