I'm confused, I came across a thread on another forum that linked to this site, it shows a weeks worth of Garfield strips (which are on Garfield.com) and well you guys are smart, is Garfield dead now and everything beyond this is just his imagination? What made Jim Davis make such depressing strips?

Garfield

And if this is too deep for you, umm you can talk about your experience with Garfield. Did you like him and read a lot of him when you were younger?

I prefer to think that the strip is the reality, and the 'normal' Garfield is his imaginary halucination of denial, as he slowly goes insane, alone in the decaying house.

But it's probably not.

Garfield is awesome, I collected a few of the books and videos a while back. I also had a huge ginger cat who reminded me of him, he liked Lasagne!

My computer lacks flash, and it's impossible for me to download it... So I'm stuck.

There is a comic strip in the star paper now of him, but I've never seen any one of them even remotely like that one.

Seeing as in that same week of strips it shows it was just Garfield's imagination i think it's safe to say it was just a dream. It was close to Halloween and i guess Davis just wanted to make a statement. I like how the guy though highlights the bit that supports his argument and totally misses the bit before it saying *and it is revealed to be a dream*

I do like Garfield though, used to read him alot as a kid and also watched the tv series.
