For any fans of retro gaming I would recommend "MutantStorm" from www.pompom.org.uk.
Its a reworking of classics such as RoboTron, Smash TV, Total Carnage, LLamamtron etc (one joystick for movement, one for firing direction).
Take no notice of the demo, you will finish it without losing a life. With the full game it is tricky by level 20, difficult by 30 and you are living on reflex by 40 +
I'm not affiliated with the creators in any way, but for 12.98 it's really cheap, and has a lot more heart that half of the FPS on the market at the moment.
Oh, its trippier that Tempest 2000 too, which is always a good thing ;)
