Although everyone loves to slate new games, but at least they have gone down in price (thanks to cartridges becoming obsolete) the most expensive games will be £44.99. Remember the days of the SNES or the N64?? NBA Jam £69.99, Turok Dinosuar Hunter £69.99. what a joke.

Yeah... but on sr you could get Donkey Kong 64 for 34.99 with the expansion pack instead of the usual £59.99!

yeh games have come down but they are still expensive expensive apart from if u buy them from SR of course but they are getting cheaper which is one good thing.

Correction, cartridges are not COMPLETLEY obselite, as the GBA uses them :D i know your mainly refering to home based consoles but it just HAD to be mentioned (plus the fact that i am soooo bored at the mo)

Sega Megadrive was £400 when it came out. And to think that the 10-times better gamecube is just £160.............

Virtua Racing on the 32x was 70 quid. And I bought it. What a mug!
Games are definately cheaper: Escape From Monkey Island on the PS2 is now 20 sheets new and it ain't that old.

Some NES games were released at £45 over ten years ago, so it's certainly good to see all Gamecube games selling on SR for under £40.
