New to this and having problems logging my FileZilla setup,spent ages on the phone and some advice given but stil can't login.l

I am using a dial up connection will this set up work with dial up?

Host box setting is : freeloa7.web.net.

From the help pages all i can see is for vip users.
Error mesage i get "EAI_NONAME- Neither nodename nor servrname provided, or not known".

Help me please !!

Thanks for the update and glad to hear you're sorted.

As I mentioned you can use the URL (www.yoursite.com) as the host name which would save you having to check which server it is hosted on :¬)

Tried this which was still giving me log in problems!

After spending ages on the phone and many hours trying all sorts of things I was informed that there are many host severs on freeola and I have discovered That as I have several websites that have a varity of host server numbers ranging from 3 – 8 unless you get the right host server number it don’t work!!.

All this is simply so complicated with what I have been using with all my websites for the past 10 years, when online login gave me access to all my sites just select the one you wanted to edit. That was it so simple.
Or am I still missing something

NB. You can also use the URL of your website.
