What are the things that make a console?

*Design
*Controller
*Games-
eaise of development
EXCLUSIVES (what's the point of saying GTA3 is on the PS2 if it's on all the others)
*Loading times (these can REALLY spoil a game)
Origionallity (is their a point in a GTA3 clone if you've got the real thing?
*Multiplayer-
Up to 4 or more players?
The addition that gives most the life
is playing online against strangers better than battling your friends and seeing their reactions?
*Popularity-
have other people got this console?
*Price-
of console and games

PS2=
*Sleek
*Not a great, not a bad controller
*Hard to develop for, some good exclusives
*Loading long time
*2 people unless a multitap is present
*Very popular, the oldest next gen console
*Dropping to very reasonable prices

Gamecube=
*Fun,geometrical
*Reviews have said good, natural controller
*Easiest to develop for, some good exclusives
*Short loading times
*4 controller ports, Nintendo on side with multiplay policy
*Quite popular in the US
*Cheapest, good game prices

X-BOX=
*Erm... Green? Large
*Bit too large controller and close buttons
*Microsoft have got the money to buy exclusive games and lots of power for good looking games
*Lengthy loading times
*4 controller ports, broadband plug and play capabillity
*Not doing aswell as the PS2 or Gamecube in the US
*Most expensive, most powerfull, expensive games £45-£60!

Conclusions?

well i would have gone for the gamecube as it is the most well balanced in terms of specs and price, but it will take far to long to be released in the uk, so i'll have to stick with my ps2 as for the xbox its out of my price budget.

Conclusions... hard to tell. You put the pro's and con's together, so a conclusion is hard to pull up, as it is fairly late, and I got 2 hours sleep last night. Honestly, I can't be bothered. Sorry...
