I'm thinking of getting a PS2 with GTA3, Pro Evo Soccer, MGS2. 2 Pads and a 8Mb Memeory Card.

Pro evolution is the best football game ever made. Those 3 games you are getting are some of the best the PS2 has to offer.
Metal Gear is good too
But if you wait a while you can get the PS2-MGS2 bundle for around £230
saving even more money

You could also choose the fire pack that includes the memory card and extra official controller:

No it isn't!
From this very site,
GTA3 = £32.99
Pro Evo Soccer = £31.99
MGS2 = £36.99
8mb memory = £29.99
Controller = £19.99
PS2 Console (including free DVD remote) = £199.99
Total Price = £351.94 BUT you get the DVD remote. And SR also do fire packs which give you savings, I'll look them up soon.
The games are a good choice though.
