‘Yawn,’ Fake Link awoke from his slumber, obviously suffering from a hangover. ‘Ow my head...’
He climbed out of bed sitting down on the side. As his vision began to clear he noticed a little girl staring at him.
What are you staring at little girl?’
‘Hey mister, you’ll too young to drink alcoholic substances - you have to be 21 and you’ll not you’re 17. By the way I’m not a little girl, I’m a big girl and my names Saskia.’
‘Little girl,’ started Fake Link.
Saskia!’ She hissed.
‘Ok, SASKIA,’ Fake Link started again. ‘I’m not 17, that’s how old Link is. I am 21 and I am not Link. I just happen to have nicked all his stuff. I’m 38 - and my name is Dave. So get that into that thick skull of yours!’ The little girl began to cry obviously not appreciating being referred to having a thick skull. She ran through the door and climbed down the ladder very quickly.
‘Kids can be so annoying!’ Fake Link sighed.
He collapsed on to his bed, when the bell to his house suddenly rang.
‘What now?’ Fake Link shouted in annoyance
‘Sorry mate am I disturbing you?’
‘Yes!’ Fake Link shouted back, but being a salesman the man came in anyway like they do and sat down on a stool in Fake Link’s house.
‘Can I sit here?’ He was already sitting there so Fake Link couldn’t be bothered to answer. ‘I represent Kakariko Carpenters - you may have heard of us..’ Fake Link had not heard of them and didn’t care to show it.
‘Not really,’ Link said. ‘Carpenters suck big time.’
The man grew red. ‘I’m sorry you feel this way. Here have some leaflets.’ The man bundled a pile of leaflets on to Fake Link’s lap. Fake Link sighed.
‘What do you want then?’
‘Well we are planning to build a road through Kokori Forest which will lead to Hyrule Castle and were wandering whether you’d mind us doing so. We’ll pay you twenty rupees!’
Fake Link’s eyes lit up. Twenty rupees could buy him five beers.
‘Fine!’ Link shouted. ‘Now give us the money!’
‘Just sign this form here and we’ll leave you alone.’
‘Sure.’ The man forced a pen into Fake Link’s hand. Link signed in the box Graham. For Fake Link was a cautious man, and besides Graham had nicked his pie last night.
The man handed over the twenty rupees to Fake Link as promised and left the treehouse. Happily, Fake Link left the forest to Hyrule Castle to spend his rupees on some well needed beer. There he got drunk and only just managed to return home in the late hours of the next day for because of his drunkness he had walked in the wrong direction many times. When he returned it was pitch black so Fake Link fell asleep at the bottom of the treehouse, not daring to risk climbing up the ladder in his state.
Fake Link woke up the next day to an unusual sight. At first he believed it to be an illusion caused by a hangover but soon grew to realise that this was real. Despite being real it was very surreal. For a very busy motorway now cut through the centre of the forest. Fake Link stared at amazement. His eyes followed the road to the exit. He was pleased to see Graham being beaten up by Mido, the man in charge of the forest. Fake Link overheard that Graham was being beaten for accepting the deal for the motorway. Fake Link sniggered happily.
Fake Link climbed his ladder. Nearly at the top he overheard a yawn. It was 7am and he had no recollection of bringing a bird back last night, then again he remembered that he was drunk last night. This got him excited due to the fact that when you’re drunk anything can happen. Fake Link whizzed up the ladder and into his home. He was shocked to see the real Link sitting on the side of the bed. The two exchanged comments about their mothers, which eventually broke out into a big fight. They exchanged punches as they circled each other. The real Link had a high spirit for victory and the Fake Link was very, very angry. The fight went on for a long five minutes, after which Fake Link smacked the real Link around the face with one powerful blow of his shield. The real Link stumbled, falling out of the treehouse. A scream could be heard as real Link fell into the road, later to be knocked over by a car travelling at a very high speed. Later an ambulance arrived taking him off to hospital. It was later revealed that Link was in a coma - and would be for some time.
After his victory Fake Link decided to celebrate with a few drinks. He started off equipped with a disaster sword and shield (in case of any bar fights) when he suddenly was forced to stop. For to his horror the motorway was blocking his way out of the forest. He shouted curses at the drivers who sped by who ignored him. In his anger he drew his Disaster Sword and threw it into the road aiming for one of the passing cars hoping to cause a big bundle. The Disaster Sword however missed it’s target and fell on to the road. Within seconds the road was engulfed with flames. Drivers began to scream in horror as Fake Link watched. Within seconds the road had been reduced to ashes. Fake Link retrieved his Disaster Sword and left for the pub.
anyways bit imature er-no ... *hehe runs away* :P
> right.........
Mine rules. Better than yours. :D
Good ideas too, and a good idea Tony to keep people talking about other, more important aspects of the next Zelda!
We then enter his world, where we are introduced to the 2D cell format of the game, as he sleeps and tries to battle his fears, nightmares, enemies and bosses from all the old Zelda games the real 3D world continues. Although the main games features him as we try and get him out of his drugged dream we also see cutscenes of Ganon in the real world completely destroying humanity.
After we spend an amazing journey of 2D cell fighting we awake to have nothing left around us. The few remaining fairies have saved Link from being destroyed with the rest of Hyrule and what is left is a painful reminder to what he could have done. Then we play Link as he tries to reverse what has happened as the Princess tries to remind him of the Ocarina he once blew. He doesn't remember (she wuped his memory) and it is up to us the gamers to remember the songs and techniques from the old Ocarina of Time.
One we have done that he travels back in time to try and stop Ganon before he destroys the world. He is then meet with his nightmares we once fought but much worse.
This is no dream. This is Zelda : The Last Saviour
