Just think, in this day an age he could've written that much on a laptop with copy and paste in ten minutes, and killed the family with three months to spare.

But that probably would have ruined the book.
And the film.

Theoretically, your parents could have just rented a film and saved me a headache and lots of confusion.

Theoretically.

Well. I heard that he was trundling leftwards when he saw a yellow madle on the roof. He wandered off and spent his only penny on a froob of akwardness. It was Monday, but, also, Tuesday.
He jumpered into mine and AJs Buxom Wenchmobile, and activated the waterbroomers. It was now yisterdau. And he was unable to whet his appetite for a frothy carrot. Oh yes, and his shmoofter was probing the whisker.
A moot point, I think.

Nah, the snowstorms cut them off from just about everyone. Even that little town nearby.

He could perhaps have hired a state-of-the-art robot to try to do the painting, but then it would probably have ended up as "All wok and no play makes Jack a full boy".
That wouldn't have had quite the same effect.

On the robot theme, maybe if he'd taken an Aibo with him he'd have been able to keep himself amused?

He could have hired painters to paint it all over the walls, and ceiling, whist he sharpened his axe!

Or better still he could have programmed it, and left it running while he went on his merry Roquet-mallet wielding spree.
