I know this has probaly been posted before but have Microsoft and the good old William Gates finially relized microsoft is not a company to trust??
Look at the play more adverts on the tv not a microsoft sign in site. Ok the x that comes up on the screen is a microsoft copyrighted sign but no recognized Microsoft label.
And on the games the microsoft label is shoved right at the bottom. Is this a sign of shame??

Sega never publically announced the DC was made by them, Sony have branded the PS2 under the "Playstation" name- not the Sony name, and MS have tried to market the Xbox as a brand in its own right...

Maybe Microsoft want to distance themselves from Xbox and let it establish itself as a brand in its own right
I don't think they're hiding, if I owned the worlds most used software i'd be extreemly happy, although i'd walk around with top security (if I ever left the house) but I don't think they're hiding from shame, they probably don't want people to think X-Box...that's made by Microsoft..not well known for good, reliable games, or a cool image.
'They' say the X-Box is aimed at the older gamers, thats probably true, people coming home after working in the office...etc.
whereas the other consoles are mainly aimed at gamers who play against their friends regulary or want to hide away in a room and play a game for hours.
X-Box doesn't really do eith er of those, the games aren't really made for multiplayer matchs, although the console has 4 ports.
And the games don't see to have too much that would get you caught up in the game.
