Sega GT 2002
------------
I didn't get on with the older title, so I didn't really hold out much hope for this new version of the game that was set to take Gran Turismo on. However, after several goes on the battle mode and then progressing through the competition mode, I can now say that I'm pleasantly surprised.
The graphics are very nice, nicer even than GT, which is what you'd expect from an Xbox game, really. The reflections, scenery and weather are all spot on and great to look at on replays too. The cars themselves all feel different, from the current models way back to the cars that make this game special, the 70's supercars and old racecars. The only problem is that this game runs a bit slower than games like GT and it never seems to build on the speed, even in the newer cars. Yes, it's fine for the old models, but I was expecting more from some of the high performance vehicles. I would have liked more speed, but the game doesn't suffer too much from it, it's still pretty playable and there is loads to unlock as well.
LOTR: The Two Towers
====================
Scary. I was watching the intro, then suddenly found myself playing the game, the fmv to game graphics effect is flawless and really makes you feel part of the game. Think old school goldenaxe with amazing 3D graphics and a great, easy to use levelling up system. It's great fun, though a two player would be nice.
I'm not sure about replay value on this game, but there are promises of lots of extras to unlock, including playable Gandalf, so I guess until all those are found you could be on this one for a while. It's still a fantastic experience though.
LOTR: Fellowship
================
Played the Xbox version of this and it all seems miles away from the Playstation game above. This is an RPG, but only in the basic sense of the word. It has both puzzles and real-time battles, both well done, but lacks the dark feel of the movie game.
The good point is that it feels more like you are taking part in a big adventure rather than dipping in to a story like in the Two Towers game, but it can get a bit boring wondering about for ages if you're after a quick Orc battle.
There you go, hope you liked it. Anyone else want to add their own mini reviews?

No offense but that game is so boring to me I wouldn't even consider reviewing it.
