Perhaps there are better reasons for why we have had to wait a while now, and the delayed launch by an extra month.
To start, they ironed the problem out to put in Hardware Decoding, which sorted the problems with corruption in the Memory Card, and produced Sharper picture & sound. This made sure that it looked as good as a £300 DVD Stand-a-lone player.
Then they sort out the problems they had with Anti-Aliasing, as some companies said that it slowed the games down, but now that problem has got sorted out somehow, they just put in the Motion Blur so you can't see any "jaggies".
Even though the japanese recieved the PS2 first, it did not necessarily mean that they got the best, as we get a machine with the minor problems solved, so we get a machine that is near perfect now, and the games companies get time to Optimise there games to make them flow and look better.
I bought P2 today, the new magazine with the Video, I think I got 3 of these vids now, and still begging for more! I would just like to know if anyone knows when The Bouncer is coming out, I know it will only be 1-Player now, and that it is on a DVD Disc, but just normal, no double sided or layered is required yet, but the game looks excellent! Some are saying November, and it goes anywhere from Launch to March 2001. Anyone that knows the confirmation date???
To put peoples minds at rest, the games will initially come out priced £39.99 at stores, or if you order from SR, you can get them for £34.99. If you can't afford, then if you have Pre-Ordered from SR, get as many games as you can, then you can take the 6-Months deal! Any questions needing to be answered then just ask.
