Blinx is a great game: very addictive, has a great atmosphere, excellent music, and the time controls work perfectly.
And it's also very challenging, which is a good thing, seeing that most games these days are a piece of p!ss to complete.
It offers something different to your average platformer. Well worth buying in my opinion.
> erm I would
Well I'd hardly say you've given it a proper go. Of course, it's all down to opinion but if you were to play it through - there's no denying it's packed with innovative and original ideas, despite the fact that at heart, it's true to the platforming genre.
One of the most difficult games I've played in ages.
It starts easy, but from the Everwinter levels onwards, it becomes seriously tricky.

What the? Mario games have always been top of their field! I haven't heard one person say that!

People have been saying that about Mario for years! :-)

Is your friend a stand up comedian or just a big tard?
Blinx is okay not terrible, bare in mind I played it for 10 minutes, but it certainly wasn't anything to fill your pants with brown coloured joy about.
To me it's just an average platformer with a few innovative ideas.
