Can someone tell me if there is any difference (however small) between the Simpsons season 1 DVD 'PAL' to the 'NTSC' version, besides the £22 price difference :-)

If there's little difference I'll get the NTSC version, Our TV+DVD player both support the NTSC format so no probs there and my bedroom TV does with that region X thing so can't wait for it to arrive :-D

You will need a multi region player
There isn't a BBFC certificate on it
The picture quality won't be the same as the Region 2 version...but the quality of the first two seasons is crap anyways so it won't make any difference.


But they only count if you wanna nitpick.

Nope they're the same, just the NTSC version is so much cheaper.

New simpsonds DVD out monday: The Simpsons Film festival, only £15.99 I think. It contains these episodes:

- Beyond Blunderdome
- Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie
- 22 Short Films About Springfield
- A Star Is Burns

It is also available on VHS video. Both versions have the extra feature of a collection of classic Troy Mclure moments.
