once again im frikcin stuck on wether to buy x-box i just read wookie$^£$^£$ wateva hes called review which he recommended and i found it useful. i was walkin round me local town with a mate and went into dixons n this bloke was stood there with his son and wife sayin to his son 'pick wateva game u want son just av a look at em n pick one (he was lookin at xbox games) i then picked up Halo and sed to me mate 'looks nice' n the geezer sed ' that is an awsome game mate u wont b out of the house for bout 4 weeks if u buy that' i ses 'o rite (polite laff even though i was scared) i just dont wanna pay 300 quid for it'
the question is shud i buy an xbox for Halo or wait for price drop etc or wait till Halo comes to pc i have a Dell P3 500 128mbram 32mb graph card. will it run on that, ive found all the recent titles MoHHAA have those specs for like minimum n me dad is too cheap to upgrade the PC. what should i do???!!!!!

I have a powerful PC and a PS2. I also just got an XBox and HALO (amongst other games). I never thought I would say this, but HALO at TV resolutions is more detailed than anything I've ever seen on the PC running at 1024 x 768.
In HALO, every surface is bump mapped, shadow mapped, light mapped, textured, reflection mapped and god knows what else. When you walk up to a rock, all you see is a detailed rock. Walk up to a tree and you see bark. Textures have almost no pixellation. I'd like to see a PC run this game at 1024 x 768 and have a solid frame rate. Your PC certainly won't run it!! Besides, it won't be out on PC for months, if at all.
If you can afford an XBox, get one. You will not be disappointed. The games are amazing, and in some respects the sound is even better. These are not PC games running on a home console. These are designed from the ground up to be a totally amazing experience, and XBox delivers.
My PS2 will not get used for a long time now!!

To run MOHAA you would need a P4(1.5ghz) or Athlon(1.2ghz), then about 512mb RAM and a 64mb Geforce 2 or 3. And thats to get it nice.
Halo on the Xbox looks better than anything i've seen on a top of the range PC, playing Wolfenstien or MOHAA.
Halo will probably just about run on your PC, but it wont look no where near the quality of what its like on the Xbox.
