it looks like it's going to be a proper old skool RPG. This better get a European release cos there's just NO RPG's on the Cube at the moment. We need some! NOW! Proper Final Fantasy type ones!

Then why did they make a statement saying they were going to take that part out of it for the Cube version? Bit strange to make a statement saying there going to alter parts of the game from a previous version if they were never in the previous version!

Dark Alliance is just a flamin hack em up game. Hardly an RPG at all.

I loved Baldurs gate (both games) on the PC. I'll refuse to buy the GC version. Complete bastarisation of what BG was. No longer can you tailor make your character, just select one from about 4 different types. And from the screenshots I've seen the interface looks cack, and like you'll get nowhere near as much depth as the PC versions...

Oh yer! It's not a direct port! There dumming it down and making it more child friendly for the Cube version. Forgot about that!

Oh yer! It's not a direct port! There dumming it down and making it more child friendly for the Cube version. Forgot about that!

Baulders Gate: Dark Alliance will blow mighty big chunks.
Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Shadows of Amn and absolutely brilliaint RPGs, on the PC.
Neverwinter Nights (PC) and Dark Alliance (consoles) suck.
Don't forget Summoner 2!!

It may be from the Dreamcast buy Skies of Arcadia is the best RPG ever. You should consider yourself lucky to be able to play it!
Besides which, it's being re-made Resi style, theres a whole new character and stuff.

Isn't Lost Kingdoms an "old-skool" RPG? (I've not played it, so I wouldn't know)
