Well. Chat's crap, and as soon as I post this, it'll fall down to the depths of "i had reel bad day 2day". So, considering people seem to be posting their creativity stuff on here, I thought it might be a good idea to do so also.
I had a diary for this stuff on chat, but five seconds after I post something in it for people to see it drops like a brick. Refusing to believe nobody really cares about it, I'm changing my location.
Basically:
Two years ago, Me, Meka, FM, Ant, Venombyte... I think that's about it for the first one, wrote a story completely out of the blue, based around the Star Wars trilogy. We had such a laugh writing it, I've decided to animate it.
I made a website to do stuff on, but it's just so damn fiddly to update stuff, I can't be bothered with doing it. Much easier to just upload stuff and post about it here. You're the only ones that would look at it anyhow.

The purpose of me posting a topic in here is to try and keep me going on schedule, and work as much as I can in it. A little nag in the back of my head really, because I don't have any sort of deadline, and it shows.
So I plan to show a picture of something I'm doing at the moment in here every Friday. So that should make me work hard, so I've got something new to show you every week.
Here's todays picture, because not many saw it: Many of you know my brain, the git that resides in my head and irritates me, but not many have actually seen him. So, here he is.

As this is the first update, I'll give you another picture too. It's basically just all the characters I've done so far. I've got a few more in production, er-no specifically, but because I've changed the design so much, it's going to take a while. Mr Snuggly is on the drawing board too, so he'll be making an appearance too. And that's Emperor Tony on the far left.

I'm going to leave in as much lip synch as possible though, there's a lot of talking, and it's going to get boring with everyone having a newspaper. It'll just be for the real long drawn out speeches.
Yeah, that would be funny. objects appearing out of nowhere. it would stop the crappy synch problem.

Yup, I'm trying to come up with original ways to hide mouths. Scratching noses, waving, reading newspapers that have appeared out of nowhere, stuff like that.

I just watched the 'jedoi' movie. This time, I had speakers. he he he he.
As for lip synch, just make them cover their mouth when they speak, or turn their back on the camera :D Or they could just all be ventriliquists (spelt wrong most likely)

I have knowledge of your animation work thing Grix as I saw some of your trailer and seen your site a few times. It's impressive.
I remember the storys you use to do, you all seemed to have such fun and a good time writing it. I think it brought people together in the old FOG.
Anyway, this forums for anybody, hopefully it won't change into a forum for a personal account of peoples day.

I'm not going for GROUND BREAKING REALISM™, I'm just telling a story, and with characters like these, it's the best way to do it.
It doesn't take itself seriously, the lip synch is awful, but you can watch it and laugh, and that's all I'm aiming for.
