That's because it has a connection to some games. Many films has a little link to a game. The developers might have seen the film several times and liked it so they use some of the features in a film to put in their game.
One of them i've found is how Perfect Dark is associated with aliens, the developers must of thought of that after seeing all those Alien films and what about the slow motion mode they put in.
What i'm saying is that game developers have alot of films on their mind they would love to put in their games.
But that's not all, alot of film directors like to play games and begin to big fans of it. Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat is a few.
The latest has to be Final Fantasy, how will they make it work i don't know. But many films made from games turn out to be rubbish because the game hasn't got a solid plot. Many films have also been turned into games and are as popular as ever. Games like Rogue Squadron has benifited from it.
Music before in games, was just some annoying squeeky sounds. Now they have evolved into huge crystal clear sound. Not only that they have their own famous tune to the games.
But why does it have to do with the music industry? The music in games has improved alot and add to the atmosphere in the game, and realism to it too. One of the great examples is how Zelda OoT had music where it the music would fade out when it turned to night. It does because as well as the film industry they are very interested in games. Robbie Williams who sang the theme for the in the FIFA 2000 game may be proud to be part of that game. People from the music industry are increasingly enjoying gaming.
