I have win xp pro already installed on my computer and was wanting to install Red hat linux on my second 40gb hard drive, will i be able to multi-boot these OS's without formating my win xp pro disk? i have partition magic 7 and boot magic.
also what partition table does linux red hat use.

Easy - Install RH and it'll ask where you want to install it. Select your free 40gb HDD and it'll install it in there. It shoudl also recognise your Windows HDD and install LILO or GRUB (bootloaders) configured to give you a choice between Linux or WinXP.
