*LEAD CHARACTER*
Tom "Boggy" Dawson [viewed in 3rd person].
Profile: a loner and keen amateur photographer.
Appearance: long black overcoat, small black hat, large square spectacles and moustache.

*GAME ENVIRONMENT*
~An after dark innercity "Red Light District" full of all kinds of seedy characters, such as: pimps, prowlers, cat-burgulars, loiterers, hookers, curb-crawlers, flashers, drug-pushers, back-stabbers, gangsters, bent cops, drag queens, pick-pockets, and of course "normal" citizens.
~Buildings would include casinos, fast food diners, strip joints, videogame arcades, nightclubs, offices, cafes, and residental structures.
~Every building would have detailed interiors, and every room and space would be accessible to Tom [you the player]. For instance: gamble at the casino, go dancing at the nightclub, play games at the arcade, pay for a lap dance at the strip joint, buy a burger at the fast food outlet, etc.
*GRAPHICAL STYLE*
The "grittiness" of Grand Theft Auto III meets the "detail" and "interactivity" of Shenmue.

*GAMEPLAY*
~The lead character [Tom "Boggy" Dawson] is capable of performing many different stealth and acrobatic moves - from crouching, crawling, jumping and sneaking to picking locks, hiding and climbing ladders - thus he can go almost anywhere in the urban game area.
~The innercity design would be very complex and detailed, as would the lead character's physical abilities and moves.
>>Basically, scattered throughout the Red Light District are "100 naked women" in various "fixed and unknown" positions - i.e taking a shower with the curtains undrawn, etc.
~All Tom [the player] would have to do is "explore" the large urban game area in a stealthy manner [armed only with his zoom lens camera] and capture on film all the naked ladies to complete the game.
~The game's purpose is made difficult by the fact that the ladies are only naked and "in view" at certain set times during each evening.
~It's a simple and err, interesting idea, but to get into the right and necessary positions in order to take the photos would take alot of "exploration and avoidance" - you must not allow the "victim" to know that you are prowling with intent, and you must not let any other "good citizens" know of your shadey designs as they will alert the police immediately.
~Stealth, interaction [with items and scenery], exploration, and strategy would be the main gameplay features.
~The zoom lens camera would work just like a powerful sniper rifle [except without the bullets obviously].
~Talk to any of the people milling about in the game area and they will offer you subtle hints as to the possible whereabouts of "the ladies" you seek in your dodgy quest.
~Capture all 100 naked ladies on film to complete the game.

It's a bit shadey, but seeking all the naked ladies throughout the detailed city with a zoom lens camera I imagine would be very addictive.
A platformer/camera-em-up. Brilliant.
Like on GTA3: I'm almost obsessed with strolling into the park at dusk on Staunton Island and tossing a grenade into a crowd of innocent bystanders then watching as their bodies explode into a thousand pieces of fresh meat.
Your game idea reminds me in many of GTA3, in that it puts you in the shoes of a lone weirdo stalking the streets of a large interactive city with slightly immoral intentions.
In fact, the more I think about it, the more I really want to play your game. It's like an adult and perverted version of Pokemon.
Excellent idea. I want to be Tom 'Boggy' Dawson - in the game you understand, not in real life -cough-.
