Take when you play Resident Evil or MGS etc you expect lots of violence and gore so therefore you can't possibly be affected mentally by the game because you know lots of things are going to be blown to smitherines.
However when you play a strategy game or a racing game or whatever, thats non-violence related you become more frustrated and violent. I find that when I play the simplest of games I end up nearly throwing my console against the wall. I have alredy suffered this loss with my first Playstation when I went through 2 controllers in a month. I got a right rollocking.
So how can these 'scientists' tell us how we feel when we play games. They don't say playing rugby causes violence do they. OOOH they get me right annoyed. Especially when little fury happy kids games are the most frustrating.
O.K I'm gonna go now before I burst a blood vessel or something.
....And so I bid you 'Happy Gaming'
....Don't get mad, Don't get mad!!!, Someone get me a paper bag quick. O.K deep breathing....
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out...etc.
But, if the person is rubbish at the game or if the game is too hard then they may start getting aggrevated and therefore wanting revenge at the game. Now if they are unable to vent their frustration at the in-game characters there is a possibility for them to go out and do something stupid. Ill repeat, there is a very SLIGHT possibility. I mean I usually use my cat should I come to teh aforementioned state....
But in my mind, as i have said before, if you are effected by the games after wards, you were slightly unstable before hand. Its not the game thats effected you, its you that was ill and acted up on the game.
