WRONG!!! Swish is the disease of the internet. From computer to computer it shall spread until, we are all doing web design by clicking on a few buttons. Ok, maybe I'm being Mr. Grumpy about all of this, but, where really is the skill and fun in an entire program doing everything for you? I certainlly don't see any point, unless you want to feel the achievement of pressing a few buttons and getting a great result.
Damn stupid thing. Why bother learning Flash5 and FlashMX, when you have some naff program that does all the work for you? WHY?!?!? Cos to start with, Flash5 is more powerful then anything else availible and with FlashMX out today, we can expect to see some amazing things appearing. But, what will make people spend £175 on FlashMX, when you can just buy a program that does it all for you, at $50?!?
Do companies want these people?!? The ones who sit there, get paid thousands of pounds and their knowledge streatches as far as being able to click a few buttons and get a result? Or, do they want people who know what they're doing and can make amazing effects, but in time?!? I dunno. But, I do know that Swish should only be touched and seen on web sites made by inexperienced people.
Will the web one day be a place where anything is possible by the touch of a button? Or, will be able to marvel at the skill and talent of the increasing amount of talented web designers?
Right. I've rambled enough.
