"Eternal Darkness question"

I got this game on Tuesday evening and at the moment I have just finished Max's chapter. My question has nothing to do with this however, my real question is that right at the beginning when you are the roman guy you choose one of three stones. Does this actually mean anything? Change anything in the game for example? I ask this because on my save I have the blue stone symbol in the top right hand corner so I am guessing theres a reason for me to know on which of my saves I have chosen different stones.

I'm suprised that it's so well hidden, if it's meant to be a main rune they should give it an easier hiding place.

Well I am currently playing blue and I have just finished the guy that looks like indiana jones` chapter. Well I finished it but then reloaded my previous save to go back and get the purple rune thing once I had the spell to summon the trapper so I have to go through the chapter from that point and just watch the cutscene again.

There is about 3 different types of playing the game, the coloured paths allow you to choose those things. So far I think the red paths is easyish because I feel that the enemys are weaker in defensive power than they are strong in offensive.

But the green path is best for begginers to get a feel to the game and to build up their strength in mind as well as pyhsical button pushing.

I take it once you've done each characters chapter it isnt the end? If so the games way too short :/

I just beat that guradian boss in the cathedral on the red path with minimal damage done to me and a whole load of whoop as$ done to the enemy. Piece of cake!

Okay I lied. I actually have enough for Timesplitters 2 as well but I really do need to save up now... :p

Experience? o_O You do mean you've got better at the game by that dont you?

Indeed. Green path for moi......I'm assuming the blue path means you use more magick for spells.

This is the games main difficulty basis, if you chose the green essence then it's easy and you lose your sanity more than usual, red is the hardest I feel as you have enimes that take off more health than normal, and blue (Damn I forgot!) I can't remember at the moment.

I have so far gone firstly on the green path and completed it, now I'm doing the red path (I can kill the enimes easier than before since I have experience).
