The beginning of the end.. look out Will Young we're after you...

From NME.com

HEAR’SAY have pulled the plug on their forthcoming UK tour, several months before it was due to kick off.

Newspaper reports this morning (March 14) claim poor tickets sales are to blame. The nine-date tour was due to kick off in Glasgow on September 15. The Sun claims only a small percentage of tickets were shifted and that following the departure of member Kym Marsh many of those were returned.

The band insist the dates are postponed to allow them more time to rehearse with new member Johnny Shentall.

"We wanted to put on the best possible show for our fans," member Danny Foster said this morning. "Since Johnny came into the band we have changed as a group. He has also come with some fresh new ideas and we need some time before it all comes together."

Suzanne Shaw added: "We have been working on so many great new tracks that we would rather wait to include those in the show to reflect both the old and newHear’say."

However, the signs are not good for the future of the group. No rescheduled dates have been announced and fans with tickets are advised to return them to point of purchase for a refund.

Marsh left the made-for-TV outfit in December following a series of bust-ups with fellow member Myleene Klass. Despite open auditions it emerged that her replacement Shentall was a former dancer for the outfit.
