Put away your synthesizers, and don't worry about Martians invading (those of you who actually read), I am not talking about our world being taken over by creatures from outer-space, I am talking about another kind of war, set to take place tomorrow in the place of my residence...known to me as...home.

That's right, this time tomorrow, a battle will be taking place between every single next-generation console right here. In the white corner there is the Dreamcast, although a little outdated it has currently provided me with many a happy moment over the last eleven months. In the black corner is the Playstation 2. Although I haven't enjoyed many different games on the crinkle-cut console, the Grand Theft Auto series alone has been enough to keep my underage mind happy. In the purple corner is the GameCube. Most games I have played I have enjoyed thoroughly, baring in mind I haven't tried Universal Studios Theme Park Tour. In the gray corner is the widescreen housebrick commonly known as the Game Boy Advance. ALthough originally fun, I haven't played on it recently.

Now you may have noticed there's one console missing from the equation. The console that stands in the lime-green corner. The X-box. If you haven't yet guessed, or haven't already seen a topic started by me weeks ago in the X-box forum, I am going to get myself an X-box. So now I will be able to make a fair judgement about the X-box, although a hint of biasicity (I'm Welsh, so forgive me for my spelling) involved in any analysis I make, seeing as Nintendo are my favourite developers, so you could argue that my judgements are nothing to go by. However, I reckon the X-box fans out there will be pleasantly suprised by what I may have to say.

So this is it, the eve of the war. Who will prevail in the eyes of your god, I mean..er...what will come out top trumps as far as I'm concerned. Which console will be given the "La-hoo-ser-her-" award and what colour plimpsoles did Dark Mark wear at his last balet performance? All this to be revealed by The Edge Man...soooon.

No one would have believed in the last years of the 19th century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets, and yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior eyes watched us with envious eyes, and slowly and surely they drew their plans against us. - A variation of Jeff Wayne's version of the first part of The War of the Worlds - quality stuff.

Yes. And it's even funnier due to the fact that it's happening to you and not me!

Funny how one single joke at the end of a message can turn the whole conversation off topic before it has even become a conversation....

No.

And before you ask... no, I haven't seen them myself. Mystique told me about their sheer repulsiveness.

So you're saying my face and genitals were remotely attractive before?

I do tap, not ballet.

*tap dances on Edgy's face and genitals, and makes them look more attractive than they did before*
