After that little raging debate the other day about Darkus' improved layout/facilities for the chat, I think it's high time we did something about it instead of moping about like a bunch of twots! If you missed it, go to the Site Bugs forum and look for a topic I made called "Why not...". The jist of it is that I was after getting a dropdown list to switch between the forums easily, but old-man Tonty seems against the idea. A few other things came up and they all seemed to be about personalising the chat. Here's a list of some of the ideas:

* Dropdown list to switch between forums;
* A doohick that lets you save your favourite conversations in your own personal 'mini-chat folder';
* A design similar to the one that Darkus suggested;

Anyone else got any?

I think the doohick for saving conversations is a bit pants. The rest sound good.

When people laugh with me, rather than at me, I'll consider it an achievement.

Until then, I will scowl and hate you all.

It's not really that we don't want to change it, it's that we often can't find the time to do lenghty site redesigns y'see.
