Since everybody seems to be in a jolly mood, I've decided to start this topic, about funny names. I have, and this is the utter truth, met a guy called Eric Shin. In New Zealand, one of my mate's dad was called Mike Hunt (as is the presenter on head radio)

There is also Richard Head, who my form teacher knows.

So what else?

Peter File
Wayne King (or Kerr)
Amanda Hugandkiss (off the Simpsons)
I.P Freely (ditto)
Anita Bath (heh)
and so on. Got any more funny ones? Post 'em here.

Heard a story on the radio this morning. Some bloke is in court for shagging a goat behind a train station in Yorkshire.

A commuter train on the way back from the London stopped and loads of people on the train called the police on their mobiles.

Not sure what his name is, but he plead guilty.

True Story:

Did my work experience at The Temple (law firm area in London), went to The Old Bailey with the lawyer I was being a serf for.

Wayne King was on trial.
He was accused of raping a cat on the Northern Line.
They passed his pants round as evidence with "feline hairs and fluids on".

You couldn't make this stuff up

Okay...

I work for a direct marketing company, and we deal in databases of hundreds of thousands - sometimes millions - of names and addresses.

And what I'm about to tell you is the truth.

On one database, we had a guy (probably oriental) by the name of Mr. Ho Kunt Kok.

Absolute, God's-honest truth, no word of a lie.

In my days of roaming the streets as an underage drinker I once told a concerned policeman that my name was Wayne Kerr. Can I suggest that people DON'T try this, as it can have, ahem, unforseen circumstances.
