every time i play ricky carmicheals mx 2002 my playstation 2 always sounds like its about to take off and fly out the window does anybody elses do this or is mine just screwed.

Yeah when i try and play Final Fantasy 8 when i close the lid with the disc in it it starts sound like a car starting up untill i press the eject / release button the only way i got it working was too put a disc ontop of the 1 i wanted to play . its strange casuse all my ps2 and ps1 games play except for my ff8, im confused as it isnt the disc swappoing bit as Mgs 1 works fine and that is a 2 disk game.
Might be the disk being all scratched/dirty or something so the spindle thingy has to make it spin really fast to try and read anything.
Either that or its a little man in the corner of your room...
