Well, nintendo's gamecube launch may not have anything quite so groundbreaking as mario 64 was to draw you to the shops, but, for the crop of the bunch, the likes of Luigi's mansion, waverace, starwars, gauntlet legends and iss2 should mean there's something for pretty much everyone, to keep them playing for a while without having to resort to anything of more questionable quality.

But what comes after that which interests me equally.
Depending on who you listen to, we may be waiting until may 17th for super monkey ball, instead of embracing it at launch.
24/5 is set to launch Super smash bros melee and nba courtside (well i care ;-P) on our 3 week old consoles, and another 3 weeks later we'll be fighting to get a copy of pikmin.

One thing is for sure, ninty will be bleeding us dry with must haves for (hopefully) long enough to let the 3rd party post-launch release schedules to stabilise a little, all the while winning over those gamers that didn't opt for a cube at launch.

Further down the line, Turok Evo and a Lord of the rings spin off are expected in september, and after that, there'll still be Perfect dark zero, Eternal darkness, Zelda, Mario kart, golf and tennis and no doubt pleanty of others. Any chance of a breather? Please!

It looks like we'll have a busy time ahead. So long as they aren't all short and sweet. It's just a question of managing to afford everything!

The future's bright. The future's purple. And black. And yes, okay, orange : )

well Euro players will get Bloody Roar in june, Soul Caliber in september. Race of the Champions and Touge Battle in october and some other game that slips my mind.

But basically if you want your generic genres and lots of them you shouldt be buying a cube.

What's missing from the launch and aftermath is beat-em-ups and racing games!

Where are they?

I want Dead or Alive 3 to come out on GC!

And I need Colin McRae 3 NOW!

Also where's the GC version of Gran Turismo? The X-Box had Project Gotham, but what's the GC got?

This is quite dissapointing!

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
