Playstation2 and Game Cube are the tow best consoles and can not be put against each other for simple reasons.
Gamecube has 4 controler ports, some of the best games and space for add ons.
Playstation2 has an expanshion bay, good games but makes it ballanced by playing DVDs.

ps2 would be better because all the good games that come out on the gc comes out on the ps2 aswell except for some of them which are only made for nintendo but mostly people are gonna buy nightfire and all the other games like it so your better of with a ps2
