My question is obviously are the Sims game as good as you think? I don't think so. This game is good the first 5 or 6 months you have it. This game is very, very addictive. It seems as if Maxis has placed some sort of mezmorizing thing in the game. After the first time you play it you're hooked. Soon you'll want to get the whole set of games. The thing is that the games get steadily more boring. First, the Sims game is great. Then you get the Livin' It Up version. It's just okay. You think that the game (Livin' It Up) is just the bad game of the set. You're still hooked on the game. So you go out and buy House Party. You bring it home and try it out and now you're really disappointed. You then probably don't feel the need to get the next game. Good idea. Another disadvantage to the game is the memory it akes up in your computer. It takes up a TON of memory. You're computer might meet the games needs, but you might be playing and then suddenly you're computer is frozen. That something you don't want to happen alot, and I'm sure everyone can agree with me there. For all you new fans of the Sims games do me a favor. Don't make the same mistakes I made. Like I already said you might think it is cool at first, but soon you'll find out it's not great. These games cost money to and the may be just like cigerettes or cigars for some people. You'll like them and then you'll be dealing out alot of money for them. If you have any comments I'd like to hear them. Thanks!!

The only problem is that 'On Holiday' and 'Hot Date' don't add enough for me to keep me gled to the game for anything longer than a few days. Still I love making my own town and holiday resort.

The 'On Holiday' Expansion is great for increasing your sims fun and overall happiness, and has some great new objects.

I still play Hot Date sometimes, but that includes all the add-ons, because I have them all on one link.

Meaning, when I start one of the CDs, it has them all together.

Hur hur.

I get bored with the sims if I play it for a long period of time, I think its because there is a real lack of tasks to keep me occupied. Theres getting promotions for the sims jobs though, which is perhaps the only thing in the game that stops me from getting completely and utterly bored with the game.

Yeah, the newer add-on packs do seem a bit dull and boring after a while, but get Hot Date and you won't be dissaointed!!

And I also hope 'The Sims Vacation' will also be like Hot Date! It seems that as long as the same can go somewhere new, rather than just get new objects, it's more interesting, and even more addictive!
