"Gates 2 late?"

Well is he?

The world today is very fast moving and and computer are only top of the range for a matter of minutes. This makes me wonder whether our good friend Mr Gates (you know the one, who wipes his butt with fifty doller notes) has left it a bit too late to release the Xbox.

This may just be me, but evry single person I know seems to have a PS2, and love it like a son.

In reality no matter how good the Xbox looks I can't see these people switching to it. The £300 price tag doesn't help.

For a machine that isn't that much better than the PS2 the Xbox is coming out to far behind. Let us not forget the poor old N64. It went to war with Sony, and it was well and truely conquered.

I completely disagree. Just looking at Xbox sales figures it looks like MS could actually break it's optimistic 6 million consoles sold by June/July- which is an absolutely enourmous number!

It'll far surpass the GC in the West the way things are going (although Ninty will increase its share thanks to the pricing of the console).

On wednesday I have a three hour lunch at my college, which is in the middle of colchester. So I will often pop along to Game and play on their Xbox, just so I don't have to folk out 300 quid.

Also you may call me a tramp but I live beside Toys 'r'us and they just have the XBox and everyday and new game and it is good fun to go in with a friend and play for a couple of hours.Nobody will buy the X box so nobody will buy it or there will be an amazing price cut on the X Box.

Yeah your right, i evern think the game cube could beat the Xbox, due to its low price.

Only the very rich are going to play the Xbox!

I agree the Playstation 2 dropped its pprice for Christmas and loads of my friends got one for Christmas they are not going to dumb that and buy a £300 X Box and I think that is were Mr Gates has gone wrong also Playstation will drop the price of the Playstation 2 and even more people will buy the system leaving X Box for bust.I think the X Box will be like the Sega Saturn nobody will buy it only a couple of people will buy the X box because the Playstation 2 gaves you a cheap console but at the same quiaity.
Some may Disagree with what i said but you have you own choice in the matter.

Yeah i agree. I was always brought up in a nintendo house, but Sony won me around.

The other disadvantage to the Xbox is that it weighs twice as much as my grandma and fills the same amount of space in the room.

Halo looks good though

Dunno man... people were a lot more scepticle about the prospect of Sony being able to survive when it was releasing the PS1

i agree.....but its only because i was brought up in a sony playing household that i am so biased against gates and the xbox.
