... ever been very excited about games? Ever been so excited you bought it as soon as you could with your dwindiling money resources? Well me and my sister have done this many a time in the past... Rugrats the movie, Rat attack and more recently Resident evil... well resident evil is good but...
All the reviews I've read about it, the guides the pictures, I expected it to be scary from the word go but... I found it chilling at best... even Lisa didn't give me nightmares.
I hadn't played resident evil before and all my friends said it was so scary sometimes it kept them up... the same happened by word of mouth, internet articles, adverts... I expected too much from this game. The hype took my imagination away from me and replaced it with set expectations.
Sure the game is scary but I actually found it fun for a zombie to scratch out my eyeballs to get to my sweet, sweet brains... oh well it may just be me... but is there too much hype surrounding up and coming or improved games?
