I think it is time SR started up an "official thread" for all new game releases, then future threads for the same game could be merged into the original one. We now have so many for FF/GTA3/MGS2 it is becoming a joke, some much content/posts are repeated twice or more!.
I know how important freedom of speech is but I have just read the titles of the last 60 Topics and replied to 5, there must have been 20 about MGS2!.
What do you think ?, we need some sort of guidelines or the problem is just going to get worse ?

There's also a proper forum dedicated to football, I just wish people would use it!

Yeah you're right.

We will no doubt be swamped with things like - "Ive got an X Box" and "X Box kicks ps 2's ass" and "Get an X Box Now".

It's like you have said before - this stuff needs to go into a seperate chat forum so the proper discussions can be seen and read.

True nh, but its something that always happens when there is a big game released, it happened with the likes of GTA 3 and SOE among many others.

I guess its something you just have to put up with over the first few weeks of there life.

But remember, things are going to get worse all over the forum with the new consoles soon to be released.

Too right ..

I come in here to have a look at what is going on and the forum is littered with MGS2 threads, you look through and people are saying the same things in the different threads.

Why cant people look at what is already there before posting new topics !!

And another thing I'd like to say, football threads in the PSx/PS2 forum.

Yes I know it's been said before but I really think that SR should remove all of these from this forum and stick them where they belong.

nh said about it yesterday, I said about it about 15 days ago and I notice that the official toonarmy thread has just been updated!

Again this is a real pain in the as......

Good idea, but we've had this discussion before and I don't really think there's anyway round it.

Unfortunately, JATs and Newbies just come on here, create a new topic and don't bother even reading any of the topics that are already setup and in use.

Until this is sorted out I don't think anything will change.

I thought when people started "Official Thread of xxx" that most people would talk about the game in there but this just isn't happening.
