Round here no pubs etc are having a bonfire because of all the red tape nowadays and the threat of prosecution if something goes wrong, plus the huge public insurance costs because of the compensation society we've become make it not financially viable.
We're having a bonfire BBQ at home tomorrow night :) where we'll have a BBQ then throw a few branches etc we've been drying out for a few weeks on it and let off a few fireworks, good fun!
We've not got any garden that's just soil where we can have a proper bonfire so it's either burn a nice big hole in the lawn or turn the BBQ into a bonfire.
Already tonight there are quite a few bonfires going on round here although the fireworks haven't started yet - just give it time!

Hurrah, the perfect film to watch tonight.
I'm in the jolly land of Wales at the mo so had our fireworks here. Exciting sparklers and all. Still got loads of fireworks left and about 54 sparklers left to burn!
May have another BBQ it's a nice day and we have stuff left over from last night :)
I can remember once doing some undercover work for the Trading Standards when I was a youngen. Had to go around town with my mate wearing a backpack with a hidden camera trying to buy fireworks from shops and catching them selling to underage kids, that was pretty cool :)
