The blue blade is the blunt side, so this knocks enemies unconcious. Whereas the red blade kills them!!
Especially against Solidus, cause when I first fought him I didn't know about the different blades, so he was a right pain in tha A**!!!!!

don't mind them bringing Raiden back but for god sakes don't bring Rose back for MGS3 she has to be one of the most annyoing characters in videogame history. There's Raiden in the middle of the biggest mission of his life and she's banging on about how she never sees his room and what day April 30th is. Next time Kojima wants to include a real life experience in the game can he not make it so bloody annoying. Bring back Mei Ling or Noami, anyone will be better than Rose.
Also when they show the 12 pictures of the Patriots look closely at the top right one. To me that moustache can only belong to revolver ocelot. Good point to start from for MGS3 with the emergence of Ocelot being one of the Patriots

ok sounds good to me. Maybe u should do on of those idea books like the staff of konami had to.
very goo....coud be a possibility...but rmember Rainden went to live a new life. How would he get involved?
This is what i think:
The patriots are dead but Hideo Kojima has done this so in MGS3 the game will take off when Snake lept into the water after Metal Gear RAY and the story will take the role of trying to stop the Patriots from dying! But Snake will fail so when Otacon told him, he put on a brave voice but secretly Snake failed/will fail in MGS3 to save the Patriots. That is where the game will begin.
Then he will find out who has done this along with help from Raiden in places (like in MGS2) and they will go out and find out, but along the way another type of Metal Gear has been designed by an unkown source (possibly liquid or revolver ocelot) but the company will be headed by Vamps brother who is out for revenge on his "DEAD" brother, but is Vamp dead?
The battle will start in an unkown complex where Snake is looking for the captured Patriots but as soon as he finds them they will be brutalised by one of the infamous Metal Gear bosses who Snake will then have to fight! During the fight Snake will fall in a cut-scene which will see The 'boss' (who tortured the patriots) trying to finish Snake off but this is where the Metal Gear Ray that Snake chased in the water smash through the side wall (ocelot controlling) and wiping out this 'boss' and nearly taking Snake with him but Snake rolls out of the way and takes on the Metal Gear Ray!
Before Snake defeats the Ray it goes to a cut-scene where the building falls through and destroys the Ray leaving a possibly dead ocelot and an unconfermed Snake!
As the cut-scene ends Snake will crawl out of the rubble and find Ocelot struggling on the floor with a radio in his hand! Snake will take the radio and listen to where the rest of the MGS3 crew tell 'Ocelot' where they are designing the new type of Metal Gear. At this point Snake and Ocelot are divided by a falling rock and when Snake looks again Ocelot is missing!
Story goes to 4 years later:
With Snakes new intelligence of where the new Metal Gear is being built he heads off to this unkown facility with Raiden to uncover what they are up to and why they are doing it!
The story begins to unfold as Snake finds the location Ocelot and his men and goes out with aided help from a computer assisted Raiden to uncover their plan with the new Metal Gear!
Snake will fight off numerous bosses before uncovering that Vamp is not dead and he is now stronger and knows what to expect of both Raiden and Snake. Vamps brother however is un-aware of Snakes abilities and can not understand what Vamp is telling him.
The terrorists do not know that Snake and Radien are on the facility so they work in stealth to find out what their plans are!
Main Player:
You control Snake throughout the majority of the game but Radien is always there to help you out in any sticky situations like Snake did in MGS2.
There will be 5 bosses in total excluding 'Vamp', 'Vamps' brother and 'Ocelot', there will be one unkown character that is related to Snake in one way and one of the bosses will know Raiden and will have fought with him as a youngster and who knows his strenghts and weaknesses, this is the only part of the game that you will control Raiden.
The rest of the story will be un-known and you will have to play it to find out what happens and when.
The game will keep all the tense and breath-taking moments that were included in MGS2 and the direction will be just as good (couldn't get any better) as in its predecor. The game will be huge in both environment and Plot and will contain more excellent cut-scenes as in MGS2.
The boss characters will be both inotative and stong and they will take more time to master and conquer. The bosses will appear at key parts of the game but on the lead up you will recieve (as in previous MGS') information and backlog on who you will be fighting and where they have come from.

Going back to waht someone said earlier I think Snake must be the slightly harder version of boss survival....no HF blade against Solidus, no C4, no claymore.
