Hooray, monday morning. My X-box is arriving on a shiny argos lorry today, complete with free dvd remote, free 2 games, and halo.
The lorry arrives, the workmen knock at the door.
Say goodbye to the kind men for bringing me it, and decide top open it. I first notice that the box does not state the 2 free games offer, and that there is no dvd remote.

So, I now have just spent £158 on an Xbox without the two free sega games, hooray!. The offer for dvd remote was when an xbox was purchased with a game £39.99 or over you get a free dvd remote. I'll take them back tommorow, and see just what the f*** IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here I am, staring at my Xbox + halo. Scared to take everything out of the box causing possible damage to the box and no refund.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ANGER!!!! RISING!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I work in the comet warehouse lol and I do most of the kicking I dont want to but when you have 25 pallets coming at you you get peed off

Believe your Mum mate - I worked in the warehouse and witnessed first hand what happens to most items as they're sent to the shops. I always hated getting anything from Argos when I was young like toys and stuff cause they always came over the counter looking like they'd been used in a football match. Now that I've seen exactly how things are treated there, I definatly won't be in a hurry to ever grab anything from there.

Today they gave me my DVD remore, a controller and they have posted me the 2 games. (The controller was because I kicked up a fuss about the pirce of the phone calls and the like, they gave me it for free!)

And comet aint that good either when I buy my gamecube I am buying it from sr.

Hey ËÏi†è ¢h@ø$ you should give Argos some lying story about you needed it for a present today and that it's no good to you now, get your money back and go to SR, or anywhere in fact. If SR is no good Comet do the Xbox with the free games, Halo, DVD Kit, and Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey DVD for just under £200. SR do a deal with DOA3 as well, think that's £184 ish.

And don't blame Tribute for saying that, remember that die hard Ninty's are getting pretty desperate with GC's (lack of) great games, plus they're still trying to convince everyone how losing Rare is a good thing.

GC has some good games, I know that because I've got one, but not enough of them, plus Nintendo is pretty thick when it comes to online strategy. Its like "Strategy ? What Strategy? What's online ??"
