Both LOTR games are coming to X-Box. Not that I see either of those competing with other top titles coming out over the Christmas run in - on any format. As far as PS2 goes, GTA: VC and Smackdown 4 are bigger threats to Microsoft in my opinion.
I dont think you can compare the progress of a console with the progress of sales of a game on a different console. Its an unrelated thing, and they will probably make a port of it to come out of xbox anyway.
