Well I think there are lots of goods reasons for having this ugly looking thing sticking out the back of our soon to be next generation console, I always had the problem of making my power pak and video lead fit into the back of my console as they were so loose(after years of switching TVs) this will stop the stuff at the back from being damaged, as anything falling on it, or if it falls off your TV then it protects all these vital pieces of equipement.
Visit the Nintendo.com website, it looks like a little dream, then it's compared to the N64 and it makes you want to fly all the way to Japan just to pick one up.

The handle will be handy (sorry) its not everyday that you need to walk around with your console but it does happen and this handle will give you the quick way to cart around your console.
It will also give you more room at the back to plug in wires now you will be unable to cram your console right up agains a back wall and damage the plugs at the back.
