Halo 3: Jeff’s revenge
Halo is back!
After years at number one in the most wanted charts Bungie have finally released Halo 3 but this time its more realistic than ever. With the recent death of master chief in Halo 2 the world is under threat once more from the covenant scum, the earth appears to be doomed but there is a hope! One man to save a race his name… Jeff! Cryogenically frozen for a century Jeff has been defrosted and now he’s mad!
Halo 3 is packed with advanced features: For added realism Jeff gets tired (Jeff can run for a few minutes but then the action is over bent double Jeff will have to attempt to get his breath back and fend off the covenant at the same time!) But there’s more since Jeff is human after all he has to stop to do his business every so often accompanied but a new ‘bladder-o-meter’ he can stop behind a tree, tank or any other covering object but make sure he’s well covered and you get there in time or his ‘embarrass-o-meter’ will explode and the game will end. The final most ground breaking difference in Jeff revenge is that he must complete the game in 24 hours or his ‘Horny-o-meter’ will explode and once again the level will end.
Blinx: The pie eater
Following the hugely successful ‘Time sweeper’ game Blinx is back to save the world again but this time with none of that 4th dimension stuff no after the repossession of his ‘Time sweeper’, his house and all his belongings due to failure to pay the I.R.S. Now Blinx must eat enough pies to survive.
Blinx’ advanced features include: A new bigger gut for Blinx but beware it may still blow in a mess of pies! This time Blinx has gone back to the old 2D style graphics for an all round traditional feel and this along with the various fish and chip shops Blinx goes to it is a veritable feast of enjoyment!
The truth is that we need a hero as the song goes ‘We need a hero to save us’ otherwise there is no point the reason most of us game is to be put in a situation where we admire the star of course there are the exceptions (Mario and Luigi for a start) but we do need someone special on our consoles so whilst all of these realism arguments are fuming we sometimes need to be unrealistic.
