It comes highly recomended from mister Meka Dragon.
The thing is it was one of those films that just crept out with little or no hype surrounding it.
Does anyone have any other ideas of films that must be watched but not a lot of people have seen?
Its a french film (had to put the English overdub on the D.V.D.) its got Jean Reno in it (cool).
It was o.k. You've got these two french cops bot on two different cases which basicaly track them down to the same suspect.
Its got a good shock ending and well worth a watch i reckon.
It gets a bit silly at one point and it loses a little in the translation but i was gripped.
Documentary about the homeless people that live in the subway tunnels of New York.
Probably can't rent it anywhere but you can buy it.
However, you can rent 40 copies of Moulin Rouge.
Something is very wrong with this picture.
Lots of people will tell you to rent Battle Royale, I haven't seen it because Blockbuster don't stock it. Damn them.
Goatboy will say 'Sexy Beast', again Blockbuster don't have this anymore, so I never got to see it.
I saw a film the other week called "Series 7: The Contenders" which was rather entertaining. Made in the style of a poor US TV show, with previews of what was coming up in the next part and the like, it was a gameshow in which there could only be one survivor, with the 6 contenders trying to kill each other.
It wins bonus points for using Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart" in it, even though the rest of the music in the film is pure cheese.
