This is ICUP news bringing you to one of the local hospitals in America. We have stolen, I mean found, several medical reports of kids that have played video games to the point of being influenced to do outrageous things that led them straight to the emergency room. Lets take a look at some of these unusual cases.

Name-Billy Roberts
Age-8
Gender-Male
Blindness

Game that caused accident- Mario Sunshine

After playing Mario’s new game about a tropical vacation gone wrong, little Billy began jumping up and down in order to get a grasp on the sun which he explained to us to be a “Shine”. Billy stared at the sun so long that his eyes caught fire. The fire was finally put out by a neighborhood boy that spit saliva into the boy’s face. Billy was rushed to the medical center and there was nothing the doctors could do to bring back his vision. The neighborhood boy was awarded with a medal and a pack of breath mints.

Name-Steve Sanchez
Age-11
Gender-Male
5 stitches

Game that caused accident-Resident Evil

Steve Sanchez went over his friends house to play his recently rented video game but as soon as Steve walked through the door his friend had grabbed his arm and bitten it. When we interviewed Steve’s mate he replied quote “Grrr. I want brains. Grr.” Unquote. Steve pretended to show the same characteristics after he received his stitches. Before he left he asked his mother if she wanted to be a zombie like him, in which his mother replied “Sure why not”. His mother is still currently in the hospital recovering.

Name-Sandra Leeburn
Age-7
Gender-Female
Severe stomach problems and diarrhea

Game that caused accident-Super Smash Bros. Melee

Sandra had enough of the school bully. With the inspiration from the popular fighting game SSBM she swallowed him whole. Medics rushed to the scene and when they asked what had happened all she said was “It always worked for Kirby the fluff ball”.

Name-Amanda Wolf
Age-2 months old
Gender-Female
Forgetfulness

Game that caused accident-Grand Theft Auto 3

Two month old Amanda crawled out of her crib one day and continued to crawl all the way outside. Amanda had seen her father playing Grand Theft Auto too much as it seems because Amanda managed to get a car stop in front of her then she said “If you give me some cash I’ll make it worth your wait”. When a hitchhiker saw Amanda the next day near some bushes with bruises that were caused by a baseball bat, all Amanda could say was “Goo goo ga ga” This has been one of the worst cases of forgetfulness that the hospital she went to had ever seen.

All these reports are sad examples of what today’s games are doing to our youth. Will this malice from game industries ever stop? Well, this has been ICUP news good night.

Hehehe, when Mortal Kombat 3 came out I was so into the game that I pretended to be Cyrax for weeks. I got a net and threw it on my older brother and started punching him. It was so funny.

Oh, and I always use to say "COME OVER HERE" then do Scorpions little arm spear movement. I know I'm not the only one that did that.:\
