-A while back I asked this forum if the VGA converter box for Gamecube was available. I went to Liksang.com and they (via the forums) pointed out the VGA converter does not work on the PAL Gamecube. However - in Special Reserve's latest magazine they list the VGA converter and give it a description that sounds too good to be true " converts gamecube signal to monitor for 1024 x 768 resolution...". Now that is a rez I would like to play at...however - I am suspicious.
-Secondly, they mention the S-video cable for enhanced picture. Super, I want one. Liksang in their infinite orange robed sandalled wisdom pointed out the Pal cube does not output a s-video signal, only RGB. Goddammit. If that's the case why are SR advertising it? Also - if only RGB available how can I put this thru my PC???
-Lastly, the description in SR mag for the wavebird controller says that it includes vibration feature. Thats B@llo@cks (with a capital B). Nintendo (read all about it at IGN.com) point out that the vibro feature chews the batteries up and that it is not included in the wavebird. They even go on to say if you are playing something like the up coming Zelda where the controller vibrates to reveal secrets, it's best to play with the standard controller.
SO...why are we getting such bad descriptions/conflicting messages from SR? I have had nothing but good service from them, and I know I am only a newbie - but these things need pointing out. If anyone can spare the time to help me I would really appreciate it, cos I've looked for solutions to the cable problem for months...
Thanks all!

Far from it Evil -I think SR value the feedback. It's not too negative and it's specific, allowing them to make the improvements we the gamers need to make informed decisions = buy more stuff.
Errrm. Can someone - anyone - PLEASE lend me their typing fingers and help with the cable issue.
Cableless in Cambridgeshire. :o)
