Trust one of the biggest industries in the world to fall into it's slow decline. Yes, you heard me, rock is dead. And in Leiscter Bangs very words, "...you just caught the death rattle."
Listen. Bands appear from nowhere, and produce terrible music, claiming it too be "creative". The last time I heard a good use of the word creative was in class, "But Sir, my desk's not undity, just creativly arranged!" Got me out of a lot that did ;). But more to the point, it's easy to argue that this is rock's pinacle, I think it is aswell, but its a pinacle that falls away.

Rock isn't dying, it's just that a lot of people think the music world begins and ends with the charts. They listen to what they're told to by rubbish radio stations like Radio 1. There's loads of great bands out there, its just a case of using things like the internet to find them. The advent of MP3's makes things easier as well.
i dont think rock is dying at all. some decent bands are coming through and some of the golden oldies like system of a down just simply get better and better.
No way is rock dying - it's just been pushed aside by Britney Spears and her marketing campaigns.
Do you honestly think rock is dying? If you are not finding as many great bands as you used to then all you have to do is look a little harder!!! There is always great music out there, whatever your taste, you just have to look for it!
