I doubt it, after playing all 3 the GameCube is definately the best. It's got the lowest price tag, the best games (for release), and the best controller. PS2 is ok, the X-box is terrible!

I judged the X-box too harshly above, I admit that, and I've got my own opinions on the GameCube being a devoted Ninty an all, but he was talking out of his rear end!

So which was the typical biased gamer in the original convo? Fair enough, the PS2 guy was talking rubbish, but at least he was honest. Rather than covering it over with longer words and the old "I`m unbiased but...". If you ask me, you were both as bad as eachother, and wound eachother up nicely. In future, make sure it says "Fog Chat" or "Trash Can" when you look at the forum title.

I've played on the X-box, and I dislike it, doesn't mean it's rubbish though.

On paper, XBox looks far better than GC and PS2 in its specs. I won't go into depth now but most people say XBox is (4 letter word meaning poo) Some of these have played it some haven't. I cant say because I havent played one yet but these people are examples of Hypocrits and biased people.

lol, I understand that Nintendo and Microsoft fans are just as biased. That's why I didn't name the title "The Typical Sony gamer"

I used to be extremely bias myself, I still am to a small degree. I used to dismiss comments against Nintendo and make loads against Sony and even Sega!

But, although I still dislike the Playstation and Playstation 2, I do understand they have their merits, and will defend against biased members who don't take them into consideration.

About Sega, I don't know why I was always against Sega. I've always liked the MegaDrive and Sonic games, and I've now got a Dreamcast!

Microsoft I've never liked, partly due to the fact that Bill Gates only gives a small percentage of his earnings to charities, and because I'm fed up of Windows 95 on my old PC crashing. I don't like the X-box itseld either, having only played on Amped, which I thought was boring, and having to use those dodgy controllers where the buttons just don't feel right, and my hands (which are quite big anyway) had to stretch!

But again, I understand the X-box also has it's merits.

There is no doubt that the person was indeed a biased gamer, and if you indeed posted the topic in here by 'accident' then fine.

But i would just like to point out that there are as many biased Nintys and Microsoft people as there are Sony fans, so before anyone replies saying that we are nervous about the release of the GC and X-box just think about that.

Unfortunately it was also indicative of the uneducated, ill thought out spam plaguing these forums. If you don't have anything worthwhile to say, don't say it. Conversly, if you do have an opinion, then explain it properly and substantiate it with evidence. You might find you are taken a little more seriously, I AM BORED!!

I was about to say it was the MegaDrive that did all this and not the Playstation. The MegaDrive was considered as the thing to own, whereas the SNES wasn't.

If you want to know the real reason I posted this in here, it was because I selected the wrong forum and only realised after I had clicked "Submit this post". This was intended for Fog Chat, and isn't a go at PS2 fans, it's a go at biased gamers who believe their console to be the best and no other can compete.
I mean, look what he said when I told him there are 20 games to be released on May 3rd for GameCube. "Yeah, they're all rubbish". He can only name one or two at the most!
If he was talking about X-box or even GameCube like he was the PS2, I would've still posted this (and probably in FOG Chat too where I intended this to go.

did'nt u ever see how cool the megadrive was, Sega went for coolness to try and beat nintendo's snes. Did'nt u ever see that spiky blue hedgehog named Sonic.

I have to agree with Pro Evo. The playstation really expanded the market. The playstation was the first 'cool' console, and to be honest, I don't know how Sony managed it.

As for the main topic. Not all PS2 owners are like that, but unfortunately, there are a few. I personally respect all three consoles, and believe they all have the potentional to do very well.
